One of the more fancy things you might do with Ansi escape codes is to implement a command-line. Bash, Python, Ruby, all have their own in-built command line that lets you type out a command and edit its text before submitting it for execution. While it may seem special, in reality this command line is just another program that interacts with the terminal via Ansi escape codes!
